I think there are ways around this.
I don’t run windows. I run all crypto on Linux using VPS.
For security, at the bare minimum you should just run a VM.
any specific reason
sorry im not too familiar with Linux and VPS
Click “more info” when windows blocks the install.
> “Run anyway”.
Because if you run a bunch of crypto wallets on your personal computer, one of them is going to have some malware.
Well I only have Ledger Live on my PC no other wallet
but i understand
I need to learn how to do the Linux and VPS thing first then
If you are just getting into staking, the time you spend learning the bare minimum of linux and how to set up a VM will be well worth it.
Well I plan to hold XST long term so staking would be best route right?
Yes, stake because you can beat inflation with XST very easily. Easiest way to passive income is staking XST.
ok got it
so basically learn how to use Linux and setup a VPS
and then install XST wallet
Does my computer have to bge on to stake
or it just runs 24/7 if i have XST in the wallet
You don’t have to learn linux up and down. Just the minimum to set up the wallet.
You have to have your computer on to stake.
Not necessarily 24/7.
